Saw on the news...

It is very sad, it is a group ride that a lot of people I know go on, I had even talked the night before about riding down to the ride-but then decided I wouldn't make it home in time to make it to work. Everyone is hoping that everyone comes out ok, 1 guy isin critical condition. These are great guys who do the local crits and are all strong and amazing people.
I do NOT understand why the taxi driver had no charges filed against him. It's truly outrageous!
In New Jersey they past "Maggie's Law" making it illegal to drive drowsy, to bad FL didn't have that law when this happened!

On the return part of my ride yesterday, only a couple of miles from home, I reached a stretch of road that had no bike lane and a TON of potholes to the right of the right lane. I carefully moved to my left and several cars passed me easily and safely by moving into the left lane (there were 2 lanes in each direction). Then suddenly there is a car right on my left shoulder - seriously only two inches, if that, from my arm. As it past I saw that it was a cab! Practically trying to run me off the road!
