Triathlon Rules

Hi Everyone, I was wondering if anyone knows anything about the history of triathlon rules? I have an assignment to do and need to know what rule changes have occured in triathlon which may have changed the way triathletes need to train. I am having trouble finding any rule changes at all, so if anyone knows any it would be greatly appreciated if you could let me know!
