hmmmmm.................... having spent the summer wishing for some rain because of the drought, we are now considering getting the canoes out to get across the garden :rolleyes: Winter is not the time to live in a beach house :rolleyes:
last night was pretty bad here top of the north island, but i think the South Island is in for some more today................ 1 hurricane and 1 heavy storm in a week is quite enough
I'm beginning to wonder what cycling outside is like, it's been so long I've forgotten ..........

Its not too bad here in Christchurch (although I don't live really close to either of the rivers). We do have a low lying damp bit in the far corner of the section that is flooded but the house is in no danger.
It sounds pretty bad a bit further north though
