I got as far as muscle mass and collagen and couldn't bear to read any more right now.

It's definitely not for the weak...aging is rough work!
yikes!
those are GENERAL figures. I'll bet a 60 year old who lifts weights has nicer muscles than that.
I'm not going to go look. :(
I can never figure out why, but the prospect of getting shorter has always bothered me. .4 inches every 10 years after 40?!? Yikes!
again, that's general. I am 56 and have not lost any height.
my mother lost an inch in 1 month!!! (staph infection in her spine)
I didn't get any further than this:
I couldn't find my reading glasses.Quote:
Did you know that visual acuity begins to decline in your 40s?
Imma just pop my coke bottle bottoms on my forehead and stick the reading matter in front of my nose, will be able to read a newspaper for a looong way to come.
I won't bother reading, as i have learned a lot about aging in my physiology course.
Yes we age. I say - age gracefully and with PRIDE. Wear your war wounds well!
If you take care of yourself, reduce stress, sleep well, you can slow aging significantly...
Keep smiling
LIVE LOVE LAUGH!!!
My vision is changing, I'm 40. My prescription has been the same for decades, but now I have to take my glasses off to read things up close.
I plan on keeping active, doing Pilates and yoga, and NOT doing like my stepmother does---constantly talk about what's wrong with her! It's all she and her friends talk about! My father said that if they didn't have their ailments, they wouldn't have anything at all to say to each other. He's right, but he got some awfully evil looks with that one.
Does any of this mean I will not be able to taste BEER? Life would not be worth living.
I don't need to wear any reading glasses yet (I'm 49)... and when it happens, there will be the typical problem I seem to have..which I don't like in myself..misplacing glasses...like misplacing my housekeys occasionally...which includes my bike lock key.
I'm prone to bad gums...but not prone to cavities...even though I have consumed more food with sugar in the past 15 yrs.
It's good that with rapid physical decay, you gain wisdom exponentially:D
