Thom just walked through the door with a red Banana Guard, a KeraTherm bottle, better than insulated than a Polar and it has a poop shield! And he got me an inclinometer to mount on my bike.
Ain't love grand?

He sounds much better to have around than that whiner Honey. :p
OK... I'll ask. I haven't been humiliated by my own stupidity all day.
What in gods name is a poop shield and where does it go?
Mountain bikers around here often find themselves riding through cow dung. This bottle has a cover that goes over the spout so you don't get icky stuff on it - a poop shield.
What I really like is how long it is supposed to keep things cold though. I often just stop drinking on a really long ride if my bottles aren't cold enough. I'm finicky. ;)

I think the banana guard really works better for the front row bananas that are more curved. Maybe the banana guard people need to make two models.
I really can't afford to get the therapy that I need...
And, I thought I was bent. :p
Bent like a banana in the front row? :DQuote:

AG... I'm sorry but the graphic you presented looked a bit like something one would pick up in Greenwich Village... or the Castro.
A Banana Guard?? Is it lycra... plastic... latex ;)
Perhaps it has alternate uses in a pinch
On the other hand, Veronica you truly do have a honey bear.

The holes in it reminds me of other protection as well. After all, it's gotta breath!
I bought Hubby, son and myself Banana guards. I haven't had any problems getting bananas to fit. Sure makes it nice stuffing it in my pack and not having to worry about mush all over everything. They have them at wallbike and at bananaguard.com Pretty colors too.
lol....well, there are many other items with pretty colors , but you can't put a banana in them. lol
The title to this thread a bit questionable..... Hubby brings home new toys!
First thought, new bikes? and second thought, wow....this forum is OPEN ...Yesterday threads about the keeper and the diva...Today, new pretty colored banana toys.
Sorry ladies....I am rolling on the floor laughing my a** off all from an innocent banana guard to keep it from getting it mushy in your bag, has opted to join the dark side (of my mind).
Hate to Brag...
but my hubby brings stuff home all the time...and he even gets up earlier than me and starts my coffee, makes it, then brings it up to me. I get my coffee in bed every morning!! AAAAHHHHH!!! AND he is my personal mechanic! I am training my son to be like his Daddy. ;)
