I've got 2 women's mtb clinics this weekend for skill training. The clinics will run rain or shine. I'm not sure what would be the best rain gear. Suggestions?

i like to have a LIGHT rain jacket, but make sure it has pit zips, if not over heating is really easy even in a breathable jacket. i don't like to wear pants unless it's really cold. REI ultra light is a good choice;) have fun in the rain, it's refreshing
If it's not too cold, just bring dry clothes to change in to once it is all over.
it totally depends on how cold or how warm it will be..... if it will be cold and raining you'll want more on than if its a warm rain. Be sure to layer enough that you can be comfortable when working hard, but not overly chilled if the group stops for demonstrations etc.
cold rain wants -
long finger gloves
wool socks/water proof socks
booties? (not sure how compatible with mt biking booties are...)
warm beanie under helmet
brimmed hat under helmet to keep rain out of eyes (or helmet with visor?)
torso base layer
vented or soft shell rain jacket
tights or at least knee warmers
warm rain wants-
vented or soft shell rain jacket
if very warm, maybe just a vest or nothing
brimmed hat under helmet
take a towel and dry clothes so that you can dry off and change before you have to ride home.
OK, thanks Eden, Clarson1178 and Melalvai ... I think it's just gonna be a warm-ish day with rain so that is a big help. The brimmed hat under the helmet is a smart idea, I'd have never thought of that! I'll toss a towel in the car, too. I usually have a change of clothes in my bag anyway. I take look for a light, vented rain coat too.
