I really want to cover my non-covered back patio with a small pergola. I am thinking 8 x 10 or maybe 10X 10. Anyone know a good kit or plans? We are not very handy people but I still think with the patience and research we could do it. :D If not we always have very mechanically inclined friends.
Built one several years ago with a kit from Home Depot. Went up fairly easily, instructions were pretty clear. Although it helped that XH dabbled in carpentry so we had oodles of tools and some carpentry skills.
LOL, I totally had to Google "pergola" to see what you all were talking about!
Now that I know what it is, it sounds cool. Good luck with the project. :)
