After a 10 mile morning commute in the pouring rain I learned . . .
My Novara rain resistant jacket resists water for about 35 minutes.
Hail stings!
Riding in the rain makes you feel like a kid again. :D

And I've learned that BikerHen is *way* tougher than I am. HAIL?!?!?!?:eek::eek:
I love riding in the rain! Welcome to the club BikerHen!
(Hail )
riding in the rain is the best, especially when it very rarely happens and it's an extra treat after a long day at work or in my case at the moment, school
The other day I saw a guy riding in the rain with one of these on his bike and I must admit I was a bit envious. http://www.bakfiets-en-meer.nl/wp-co...rain-roof1.jpg
Smurfette, that is cool and uber-dorky at the same time!
bikerHen rocks! Or should I say 'hails'!
;-p
I bagged my commute when after waking up I heard it pouring rain. Then it turned to snow. Later in the morning it was hail, then pouring rain again and then more snow. Oh well...tomorrow is another day. I can't bring myself to ride in the rain to work. I will ride home in it, but I don't want to start my day in it...I have really become a weather weenie:D
I kindof have the same rule. If it's really raining in the morning i don't want to ride. but if it is forecast rain and it's not raining yet, I will ride to work with full rain gear in case it's raining on my way home.
