Has anyone tried Specialized Enduro short? How does the chamois compare to PI or Terry? I'm looking for a longish baggy mtb short to wear in the heat of the summer. :p Just wonderin' how they are.

SD,
I don't know anything about the Specialized shorts, but I can tell you that the Sugoi Gusta shorts I got from TE are wonderful!

I just love 'em!

Alex, thanks for the link. Is the fabric stretchy? Is the cut kinda baggy for, um, healthy legs? :o
The fabric is fairly stretchy, but the Shebeest Breezer shorts are stretchier and the outer fabric is lighter weight than the Gusta. I bought the 2007 Breezer from TE, too, when they were on sale.
IMO, the Breezers are "cute" and the Gustas are "badass." I anticipate wearing the Gustas more because the fabric is much more resistant to tearing (and feeling badass is kind of fun, even if it's only by virtue of my clothing.) ;) The Gustas are longer, so the added leg protection might be useful to you. However, I can see wearing the Breezer if I'm out working on trackstands, or taking a mellow ride in treeless terrain. (Treeless being the operative word considering the huge rip I got in my new Terry jersey this past weekend when some fallen branches reached out and grabbed me.)
They both fit me great, but I don't know how they will fit other body types. (I'm 5'8" and 125 and I bought them in a medium.) I'd recommend calling TE to get fit info. Susan was very helpful and spent a good deal of time explaining the various shorts, what kind of riding they would be good for, relative durability, etc. The 2008 Gustas have a new chamois that I adore. (I loathed the old Sugoi chamois.)
Have fun shopping!
