Hi my name is Emily and I have am a TE addict.
I am here today to take the first step and admit that I am a compulsive TE message board checker.
All at once now: Hi, Emily!
If it makes you feel better to know it, you're not the only one. I've not only had days when I obssesively checked TE a few times a day, but have had a couple of days that I didn't even bother to log off.:o The obsessiveness is worse on days I really NEED to ride but the @!#$%@$ weather won't cooperate. Like today. It keeps hailing/raining off and on all day. Me want ride bike.:(
I hope you're not suggesting that compulsively checking TE is a bad thing. Cause I do the same thing and I'm certain there is nothing wrong with me. :D
Hi Emily,
Admitting that "we " have a problem is the first step in getting help....
Oh yes and there's plenty of help available here :D Just stick around!
Are we supposed to log off?!?
I don't think I've ever logged off.
I am addicted as well.
But you all know that. :D
.....and it looks like I have a LOT of work cut out for me! I only have a bit of time in the late evening when I can check the forum but I will do my best to make at least one post a day! :)
It's fun. I can see how easily one could become a compulsive poster or message board checker! :)
Ahh, but here's the REAL question. How many of you check and post on other boards as well?
I will be the first to admit I am a regular on a couple of others. Plus I spend a fair amount of time updating Beginner Triathlete, Buckeye Outdoors, Twitter, and my Blog. :p:rolleyes::D
And that doesn't count the Podcasts that I listen to with their accompanying websites, and the Blogs that I read.
There's a few other forums that I'm a member of, but I don't visit or post on a regular basis on those. A couple of coffee forums, lots of cycling forums like bikePortland.org, serrottaforums.com(mostly for the bike porn - the last section down is for custom bikes!<drool>), bikeforums.com, etc.
