My goodness, where have the years gone.
That's funny.
Why is it funny, you may ask?
Because they'll look at that photo years from now and say "that's funny".
His hair is very soft looking.
Your daughter is beautiful!! You must be very proud of her!
You must be very proud indeed.
Silver Daughter's date does have quite the hair. A lot of women love to have that hair.
The ironic thing was that as we arrived at his house for pictures, his aunt was running downstairs with the hair straightener saying: "It took a while, but I think we have it done!":D Then, I had to tie his tie for him!
Later his father said: "I wish he would cut his hair"...I said "it's taken me 45 years to figure out...but I'm finally learning that you have to pick your battles...and he's a really really good kid!"
BTW: His hair looks great in a pony tail!
His hair IS pretty. & so is his date.
She is beautiful! Looks just like her mama.

They all look so wonderful! I want to dress up!
When you do, post a photo :D
If you had made it to Columbia and met my husband, you'd have seen his hair is longer than SilverDaughter's Date's. I say I don't care what length his hair is, although once he contemplated cutting it and I nearly cried. I do not want him to cut it! He wouldn't look like him.
We're planning a trip to Bloomington this summer to see my sister. I'll let you know as soon as she gets back to me with a schedule and we decide when the trip will be! With our luck the Silvers will be out of town just then...
You daughter is beautiful and after meeting Silver it's fair to say she does look a lot like mom. Our 20 year old son had long hair through most of his high school days. He went from shaving his head with a razor to long (not in one day obviously) but he was all about extremes. We had parents who suggested we should make him cut it. I said exactly what Mr. Silver said, we pick our battles and it's just hair! Besides, we don't tell our 11 year old daughter when to cut her hair, how would it be any different? We had plenty of battles with him so fighting over hair wasn't needed. Now he wears it much shorter but he's the same great kid either way. He was all about making his own choices and hair seemed like an easy choice to let him make.
My DH's hair is much longer than that:cool::cool:
Doesn't phase me (though, since I have short hair, I get a little tired of cleaning up the hair tumbleweeds - I think he sheds more than my golden...)

PS - Lovely photo:)
SilverDaughter is gorgeous! And, yes, it sure looks like that hair has been straightened, and it looks quite nice. You and Silver must be very proud!
DH had long hair for years. When we moved, he cut it. Now it's almost shaved, buddhist monk-like every few months....I'm still getting used to how he looks in it!
Hugs and butterflies,
