After breakfast of oatmeal with skim milk and tea, I cycled over to market..where I had a French light pastry of very light puff pastry Danish with a custard filling and apricot.
Came home, had a slice of fig-anise artisan bread and more tea.
Then 5 hrs. later, fortified at a gourmet cake shop, where I had a ganache dark chocolat multi-layer cake and strong coffee with milk.
Supper, he made goat cheese dip with smoked lox salmon with red pepper, herbs on rye crackers; followed by entree of homemade wild coho salmon flavoured with lemon and lime juice with touch of maple syrup and wrapped with phyllo layers and whole thing baked, brushed with abit of oil. Had sauteed mushrooms, onions and fennel bulb on side. White wine, followed by merlot wine.
