ewwww, gross! I'm a bit of a germ-a-phobe so I don't dip at parties. People are gross creatures. :p I only double dip with DH. I figure living together and all, I share most of his germies anyway. :)
I helped out at a friends open house once and 4 days later had the worst cold ever! i swear it was from eating the dips. I stay away from those tables now. Unless I am the first one or it is not a dip type food. It was a really bad cold. And I had to go to a job and drive through the mountains. Oh the pain in my ears!
Yuck. But did they really need to do a study to figure out that double dipping is an unsanitary thing to do? Seems like common sense to me. You wouldn't spit in the dip, so why would you stick a chip that's already been in your mouth into the dip?
