I looks like I get to start the thread!
my coldest ride ever; 30 when I left, 33 when I returned. I was dressed well and was never too cold.
2 layers of SmartWool socks+chemical toe warmers+Lake winter bike boots=happy toes.
Warmers in my gloves kept my fingers mostly warm.
24.5 miles
I thought I would see if I was well enough to enjoy 15 miles on a beautiful 67 degree day. No such luck, after 2 miles my body reminded me I have been sick all week and am still weak. I turned around a little disappointed. I have been fighting a viral infection and although it is still lingering, I thought since it was mostly a head cold I could go. I will try again tomorrow since it is supposed to be 70!

an hour's ride in the beautiful sunshine, but it was chilly. 40 or so. My toes got cold.
99.6 miles and my Polar is irritating me! When I use my Niterider it interferes and I lose speed/mileage, so I had to map my entire route on Bikely when I got home. Grrr...
Anway, started off early again to get in miles before the kids got home from their dad's. Got to experience a new hill and need to explore that area some more. Went by the shop that sponsors our team and joined up with the women's ride for about 15 miles, then continued on my way since they were doing an out and back and it was the wrong direction for me.
My fueling was great! I've been using Sportquest CarboPro 1200 and the mild taste is just what I need in my bottles. I was completely liquid. Had some Carbo Pro mixed with Interphase this morning before I left and just needed to find water along the route because I had the CarboPro1200 in flasks in my jersey pocket. Out of all of the nurtrition products I've used on longer rides, this is agreeing with me the best and I'm excited to go into my doubles season with nutrition in the bag!

Just in from riding 12 mi.....Low 30s, but I dressed for it. LOVE having chem warmers in my gloves. I'd never make it more than a couple of miles without them!.....Sidi winter shoes combined with Sealskinz Chillblocker socks (fleece lining) seem to do the trick on my feet, without additional chemical assistance....
I finally started clipping in about ten days ago, so am still getting used to cleats. I'm having more trouble clipping IN than out, LOL! I can unclip in a heartbeat, but it sometimes takes me a half minute or more to get shoe to attach to pedal......I guess it will become second-nature down the line. In the meantime, my av mph is suffering as I lose time twisting, sliding, turning, pushing---trying to meet-and-greet the cleat 'sweet spot' on my pedals! :D
Soon-to-be-DH and I had to drive down to C'ville to do some shopping for his new job - new job = new clothes. On the way home a friend called and said, "it's sunny & 40 degrees, let's ride!" By the time we got home it was 36 degrees, cloudy and looked like it was going to snow. We went anyway - a personal low (temperature-wise) for me.
18 miles; 32 degrees.
I had on knickers, Surefoot ski socks, PI thermafleece tights, PI shoe covers, Craft and then Patagonia base layers on top with my really really wonderful Craft jacket on top. PI Amfib gloves with no chemicals in feet or hands and stayed fairly toasty. Oh - and a buff on my head/neck/face.
I saw snowflakes on the way back.....eeeek!

I was hoping to get in my first outdoor ride of 2008 today, but at 35 degrees and pouring rain, no thanks.
Spent an hour and a half on the trainer watching the first disc of Dune...the extended version. Will watch the 2nd half tomorrow. :rolleyes:
(Guilty Admission: I was supposed to do 3 hours today, but I bagged it after 1-1/2 hours...kinda mad at myself. :( )

Fresh snow on the ground today. No complaints, though, because the sky is clear!! Another trainer ride for me. Disk 2 of Dune: The Director's Cut.
I rode twice yesterday and got in 22 miles. On my first ride I jumped on the road bike with the wrong mtb shoes--the ones without cleats. Did 8 miles or so and turned back. Later I did 14 miles but by then, my heart wasn't in it to do a long ride. :rolleyes: It was cold, cloudy and windy.
Today it's pretty and I have no desire to ride. :confused:
