My dear, sweet, fantastic husband has to have surgery on the 16.
He has to have his upper jaw-bone cut in two places and adjustments made on his jaw to correct his TMJ problems and his bite. His upper and lower bite are flush with one another and have caused jaw deterioration and other bite issues.
If you have kids PLEASE take them to the orthodontist for guidance check-ups, as this surgery most likely could have been avoided if the mother-in-law would have done what she was supposed to do when he was a boy. Aaarggg!
They are putting him on a soft-foods diet for quite awhile post surgery- smoothies, soups, etc. I have some recipes that I have collected over the last month or so, but am looking for more. Puddings, smoothies, soups, or anything that I haven't thought of would help. It is always nice to have something tried and true rather than something from a book that I have no idea how it will taste.
I have enough protein powder for a peleton!
The pharmacist is about to become the patient which will test both our patience! He is NEVER sick!
Thanks for any advice/ help.
