Xtracycle, here I come!
I've been watching Craigslist for a steel rigid fork MTB that I can convert into an Xtracycle. I'd almost given up hope, but today I bought a 1991 (I think) Bridgestone MB-4 for only $60 from a nice woman who's moving across the country. And it's red!
After I took the inappropropriately sized fenders and improperly installed basket off it, it looks like it's in decent condition. It was kept outdoors some, but the only rust is on the seatpost and a tiny bit on the handlebars. Next stop, LBS to see about getting the Xtracycle kit installed!
The seller threw in a like-new frame pump and cable lock, so I think I got the bike for about $30. (I needed a deal, since I dropped a grand at the vet today on tests for my sick dogs, one of whom appears to be terminal with large masses in his lung and liver. :()

Oh no about your pups. :( I hope they're OK!!!
The bike looks really nice! And I'd LOVE to see pictues of it when you've got the xtracycle all put on. It'll be one rugged bike!

DB - hugs to your pups!
Nice bike, I also want to see pictures when it's all hooked up!
