Tour de Cure
Hi,
For the third straight year I will be doing the American Diabetes Association Tour de Cure ride in Stillwater, NY. In 2006, my first year of riding, I did the 25 mile route. Last year I did the 50 mile route. This year I will tackle the metric century ride (62.5 miles). Both of my parents are diabetic, as are several other family members, and I may be prediabetic. I bike to raise money for diabetes research as well as for keeping me healthy and fit and so, hopefully, I won't progress to full diabetes. I'd appreciate any support you can afford. Please visit my Tour page!
Thanks, Nicole

Thanks for the reminder. That ride (the local one) is something I might add to my list this year.

Ooh, there's one here in Seattle, too. May 17th.
Now to decide if I want to fundraise and ride the TdC, or if I want to volunteer.
(my mom is a diabetic, and I'm already thinking of a list of folks to hit up for some dough)

I will also be riding the tour de cure here in Rhode Island, June 1st. I plan on doing the century with the team Rovin' Rhodies. You can visit my page here.

I'm doing the Tour de Cure this may from san antonio to austin,tx. (112 mi)It's my first organized ride, and i'm feeling a little daunted, but really excited. I've already surpassed my original fundraising goal! both my parents have diabetes, and my grandfather died from diabetes complications, so i couldn't think of a more worthy cause!

I'm new to this site. I am going to buy my first road bike in the next two weeks. My husband has been riding and commuting for some time. He and my 10 year old daughter are doing this race here is Roseville, Ca next weekend. You can see their site here

My ride is just over a month away. I'm starting to prepare by doing longer rides (30 miles last Saturday, 40 miles this Saturday). I can really use your support. Won't you consider sponsoring me?
Thanks, Nicole

I've got less than two weeks til my ride and I'm short of my goal. Please consider sponsoring me.
Thanks, Nicole

Give this a bump on Thursday.

I'll give it another bump. I donated to you. My sister in law has a young niece with diabetes, so I always try once a year to donate in her honor. She's a real champ and although only 12 has been a spokesman for the cause in her homestate of Florida!

I did a 50 mile ride today and I'm as ready as I'm gonna be. The ride is a week from tomorrow. I'd still appreciate additional donations.
Thanks, Nicole

One week to go. I really want to pass $1500; still $50 away. Won't you put me over the top?
