I knew there was a reason I hated Patterson Pass.

And I thought I was just being a wuss about this climb.

It's very reassuring to know you're suffering for real. :p
Heh, kind of like those "rollers" on Ridgecrest heading up to Mt. Tam.
Right, MP? ;)
Yeah, Jo, I almost fell over laughing when you described them that way. We locals have a special name for those - the "Seven ____ (insert generic term for the mothers of Russo's 174 guide dog puppies)".
As for Patterson, I hate to say it but that was not even close to the hardest part of DMD for me. Sure you do say "Oh my God" when you look at the hill, but it wasn't "too" long and it's still relatively early in the ride. Plus I'd just had a whole bunch of miles go by quickly while riding with friends on the flat and truly rollery section before it so I was pretty happy and still feeling okay.
Now the second part of Hamilton on the other hand...:rolleyes::rolleyes:
Oh yeah, and Sierra... :p the hike....
What a great ride.
I swear Patterson is my nemesis though. There's something about it that just wears me down. I'm thinking about doing hill repeats on it.
I was just glad to see it wasn't an easy little hill after all. :D

Do some repeats series on it, and it will be an "easy little hill"!! :D
That's my plan actually. :D
