2008 Rides and Challenges . . . What are yours?

Hey everyone!

Well we are coming to the end of 2007 and for me it was a bad cycling year. I did not get to ride as often as I would have liked to. So for 2008 I have a few goals that I am striving to achieve! First and most important,

1. RIDE A LOT MORE THAN I HAD IN 2007 but also have FUN FUN FUN while doing so!

2. Ride the RAMROD for the second time in my life (first time was 2004)

3. Maybe ride the STP (still tossing that one around)

4. Ride in as many organized rides as I can

5. Try to ride every single day this summer once school is out for summer break. I believe the last day for staff is June 18th.

So what are your goals for 2008?

2007 was the year of getting back on the bike after a 6 year absence - in Sept. I was riding daily until DST then went to weekend rides. My longest ride was 56 miles. Once upon a time centuries were a regular thing for me. So I have a couple goals for '08:

1. Work up to a century
2. Ride RAGBRAI (used to ride it every year....many years ago)
