Liner gloves
I lost my Smartwool liner gloves  ...
Since I need to replace them, I was thinking instead of getting a lightweight wool glove that has some grippers on the palm. So that I can use them for driving, or for riding when it's not very cold.
Would love something that...
Is wool, or a wool blend
Is good for running (which is why I like wool...I run a lot in the rain and the wool stays warm when wet)
Has some kind of gripper
Is still thin enough that it'd fit under my cold-weather cycling gloves, as a liner.
Saw the Smartwool Synergy Glove online...anyone tried that? It looks like it might meet all my criteria, EXCEPT I can't at all tell if it's thin enough to fit under my cold-weather cycling gloves.
Any other gloves out there?
Thanks!

I have a pair of ancient Smartwool gloves with leather palms and fingers.
I wear them alone when I ride. (too thick to go under my bike gloves, but I don't need bike gloves when I wear these anyway)
I use the gloves for everything.
When they finally fall apart, I'll probably cry. Haven't seen any like them around for about 5 years.

These aren't wool, but they work great... Sporthill has some liner gloves with the rubbery grippy stuff on the palms. They block the wind a bit better than just plain liners but don't seem to be any heavier. I wear mine for everything from walking the dogs to cross country skiing.
