A belated Happy Holidays to you all! I hope everybody is having a festive time.
The remodel timeline crunch and a broken computer kept me away for too long but I'm baaaack! I missed you gals.
What did you and your bike habit get from Santa this year?
For me it was: Trico Iron Case (airline/train travel case for my bike) and 2 big gift certificates to my favorite bike shop.

Glad to see you've come home for the holidays!!! Santa left me a FSA carbon crank for my Trek 5200, and he left me new hubs and a bottom bracket for the ole Terry which I am converting from old school to new school componets, (my idea of fun now that there is 12 inches of snow on the ground). The new crank looks sweeet on my bike. Can't wait to try it on a real surface and not just rollers.

bike stuff was limited to some socks and tidbits this year. I'm kind of sock s**t so there's no such thing as too many.
The real goody was a huge set of calphalon pans, I do love to cook so this is excellent!!

Topolino wheels with cool kevlar spokes for my Litespeed Tuscany! Santa told me I was very, very good this year. But family was here all week, it's raining and now I'm sick so I havn't been able to ride them. Do you hear the whambulance coming?
Avid Juicy Sevens to be exact.
And a new saddle bag.
And a raincheck for a road bike if and when I ever find one that fits both my body and our budget. The shop's supposed to be getting that XS in for a test ride next week...
I won't be able to ride outside for a while... we got 12-15 inches of snow Sun-Mon. Winter has come to New England. Being a roadie AND a weather weenie, it's indoor activities for me!
Jan 2, it's off to the gym and the unwrapping of those Spinerval DVDs I bought last summer.
Meanwhile, I'll peruse all the goodies to see what those gift certificates will get me :D
New Winwood carbon fork for me. Wahoooo. Hubby is so good to me. Now if we could just get rid of all this snow. My little Surly is going to be so happy.

Seriously though, I doubt any trips til end-o-March. I'm in 'sucky' shape. I need to REALLY work out.
I really don't know what the cindy is though. pm me on that Trek should the other ladies not want to suffer yet another episode of "Spazz the Sieve brain".
The Cinderella - metric century for women only in the East SF Bay. To be done at least once by all women in the area. It fills up very, very fast! I think last year all 2200 spots were gone in a few days.

I was *supposed* to get a new gruppo (10 spd dura ace or chorus...hadn't quite decided....) then my daughter spilled lemonade in her laptop.:mad: :mad: :mad:
I took the cash option and IBM got my xmas gift instead. :(
Luckily a fellow cyclist took pity on me and gave me his last-year's dura ace (9 speed). What would I do with 10 speed anyways, right???

I received a little cash, enough to get a new pair of shorts and maybe pick up a couple new tires on sale. It will be tough to decide between tires for the roadie or the mountain bike, as both will need new ones in the coming months. I'll just shop for the best deal--and there are some deals to be had. One thing I will get for sure is more CO2 (Don't leave home without it!).
I got a beautiful silver bracelet in the shape of a bicycle chain.
