really in the groove today..

hiya.

i set out today to do a half century - 50 miles if i could - 40 if not-- well i managed the 50, and then it's like, only another 12.5miles to a metric century-- and at 62.5 miles (the metric century) it's like, only another 4.2 miles to an imperial 2/3 century... and at 66.7 miles i put bike in car and started to drive home... but then i got to thinking, it's only another 8.3 miles to an imperial 3/4 century, so stoppped off on a small trail near home to do the last 8.3 miles - 75 miles knocked off :-) 120 kilometres...

so pleased with myself - i feel i have 'graduated' from the 'new riders' forum to the big girls' 'open discussion' forum now!!! :-) i am off out to the greek restaurant for saganaki and a vino to celebrate!!

Great ride!!!!!!!

What a way to keep marking the miles. I know the feeling of "graduating", that's how I felt after my first metric last month.

what do i ride?

a 47cc sexy red cannondale synapse fem triple - alu-alloy and 105 drivetrain and ultegra shifters... was a SLOW ride - but i did it! :-) and enjoyed my saganaki and vino at the greek restaurant too - got the coolest tan lines from my PI shorts too :-)

thanks all you ladies on TE for your patience in answering my questions and stuff over last 3 months since i started riding... couldnt have done it without y'all!

WOW!!! Congrats on a really long ride today, Bat! Funny how you kept on going- just a little more, just a little more... next time you're going to do just 25 more and make it a full century. ;)
