Got My Bike Checked Over

and serviced this afternoon. Bike shop couldn't find anything wrong with her except they've tightened the back brake. I explained what happened yesterday and we've all come to the conclusion that it is the tyres that are causing the problem (which I thought) because they have the slick part in the middle - doesn't go well with grass. Anyway, I've ordered new tyres for her similar to the ones my Raleigh has but better quality so they should have them in stock in a couple of days.

Tried on several new helmets when I was there and liked two - both Specialized. One is the Instinct (it was a good fit and comfortable) and the other one I can't remember the name of (Specialized too) but it cost £100. It was extremely light and very comfortable. Tried on a Rudy Project but didn't like that one at all.

Since I usually get very good discount from them I shall probably opt for the more expensive Specialized purely because it was so well fitting and comfortable.
