Aug 20-26 Miles and Miles (or km!)
I'm not usually a thread-starter...... so I'll practice!
This week-
Sun: No miles- did 10 on Sat, plus I was a cold and wet Swim Angel volunteer for the Seattle Danskin Tri- 2+ hours in Lake Washington was enough!
Mon: 3 easy, then some goofing off on the bike trying to find the right saddle position.
Tues: Easy 5 miles
Today: Tempo, 6.5 at 7:47 pace, not bad for a student who never sleeps. (I sure hope all this studying gets me into PT school!)
Decision: Seattle Half or Whole marathon? (In November) Hmmmmm. Oh yeah, and I need to train some for the MS150 coming up- running crosses over, right?;)
What's that big bright orb in the sky?
The sun, that's what! :D
The weather has been miserable here for all of July and August, I finished my trail run on Sunday afternoon and wished I had a hat to put on, it was 13C, in August! The sun has made a reappearance in the last couple of days to remind us all what summer is so it was a very warm 4 easy miles yesterday - glad I remembered to blow the cobwebs off my sunglasses. Rest day today then a trail run and some biking over the weekend, no firm plans as its a public holiday on Monday that I completely forgot about :o so an extra day to do stuff and the weather may stay good, but this is the UK so best not get too hopeful
