Funny - BF heard the worst news last night :-)

A bunch of my friends/teammates and I were talking about what was on the horizon. We've only got one road race left for the year without traveling pretty far. Since I race mountain bikes too, my friends suggested I start doing cross. Well, I told them I wasn't allowed to get a cross bike before I got my new race bike so it was out of the question.

Come to find out - I CAN DO CROSS ON MY MTB IN THE BEGINNER'S CATAGORY! WHOHOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

At least I broke the news gently to him at dinner with some of my other teammates! :D

Yeah, we just had to take the bar ends off our bikes. It was fun and for me, being in the right gear when I remounted won the race. :)

Have a great time and don't watch the guys remount, I don't know how they do that without forever altering their chance at fatherhood. :eek:
