In January of this year, this woman and her husband embarked on a round-the-country (literally) bike tour, with trailers, on a limited budget, to prove that little changes can make a big difference. Her starting weight was 325 pounds or so. They are incredibly inspiring. Although I don't have any weight to lose, I feel like, if she can do 35 miles a day with a trailer, then dang if I can't do 45 minutes a day.
I've been talking Priscilla and Morton up everywhere I can; their story is so remarkable. I've been thrilled to see that they're getting more media and sponsorship attention than they had for the first five months of their trek; if you go though the archives of their budget etc, it's pretty amazing what they were living on for the first while.
I'm in Vancouver, Canada, and I'm really excited that they'll be passing through on their way up to Alaska!
I've also been following them on my blog.
I've been checking out their blog regularly, and also corresponding with Priscilla, and they've had a couple of recent setbacks, so encouraging thoughts and notes would be great! They're still on their trek, but with a few adjustments due to injury and weather.
