Help - No Flat Tire
I have yet to get a flat tire yet (Yeah) however, how are you suppose to learn how to fix a flat if you have never had one. I have a fear that in 3 weeks when I do my first race I will get a flat and race rules state no one may help change or even give verbal instructions on how to change. I need some wisdom here.

Let all the air out of your rear tire.
(pretend it's flat)
Take everything off, like you were changing the tube.
Put the "old" tube back on the wheel. (like you would with your new tube)
Put on the tire, pump it back up, put rear wheel back on, manage the chain, etc.
Once you are speedy with the rear tire, changing the tube in the front tire will seem really easy!

I practiced by letting the air out and then taking it on and off. It took me a long time at first (I am very not mechanical) - but now I am faster - I spent a couple of hours doing it in my living room one weekend afternoon.

You rock! THanks to all for the advice. Guess what I'll be practicing tomorrow.
