Thumbs up for PT!

I had my first PT appointment today and I am amazed at Physical Therapy, in general!

Apparently, I have plantar fascitis and achilles tendonitis, from wearing high heels for too long/too much and not stretching my "over-developed calf muscles". During PT today, I learned that the stretches that I have been doing are good, but I've not been doing them long enough, nor have I been doing them properly. Who knew!?

After a little ultrasound therapy, followed by deep tissue massage on my arches (OUCH!), my feet felt tons better. My arches hurt a little right now, but I expect that continuing therapy will only make it better in the long run.

I totally should have asked about PT a long, long time ago! Kudos to all the physical therapists on TE! :D
