Speedball - with boxing gloves

I'm trying to improve my upperbody strength and tone, and really like punching a speedball. Have had difficulty finding any info about correct technique i.e. position of feet, height of ball and action required.

Speedball sites in USA are referring to a weighted ball that is thrown. Speedball in Australia is a ball hanging from a board and is punched with boxing gloves. Does anybody know of a site that could help? Thanks in advance :)

Boxing, kick boxing and traditional martial arts are great crosstraining for cycling I think. Best to find an instructor near you. This is something you need to "see and be seen". Sure you could watch a video or read a book but few have a real idea of what your body is actually doing in motion.

A good trainer will be able to get you going and enforce good habits from the start.
