Hi there, I heard on the radio today that the work is done! If anyone rides the bike trail down through there, can they let me know if the trail is open? Last time I went there was that detour that went over the bridge and, er, being that I'm a wussy girl that is scared of heights, I turned right around. :o

LOL - there is a Fremont neighborhood here in Seattle - that's the Fremont bridge construction teigyr is interested in!
I haven't been over that way in a week or two, but I have heard it was close to completion.
Sorry! Too weird. "Our" bridge hit the news last night because it's a month ahead of schedule. 5 million dollar bonus for the contractor is highly motivating.
I could probably get pretty motivated for that too - but if I managed to complete the 5 million dollar task I doubt you'd ever motivate me much again :D
