I have been wearing one (Fixx) for two years.
Sweetie has one. So does his dad. Both wear the bracelet type and like it.
By the way, if you do a search on this site you'll find lots of references to it.

I have one. So do all my cycling and tri buddies.

I have a yellow wrist one, and my hubby has a black shoe ID
edited to add: I was actually inspired by this thread to get our Road IDs:

Count me in. I have had the Fixx (necklace-type) and just recently went to the bracelet ID. I have to say, they have really improved on the velcro/comfort issue of the bracelet type. Years ago, the material they used wasn't nearly as comfortable as what they offer on the their present product.

I started using one last summer, when I started going on group rides with people who really didn't know me or my "contacts." I wear it riding alone, skiing, hiking.

Road ID
I have the ankle ID. I keep it looped through my helmet straps when I'm not riding, so I never have to remember to bring it with me--I always have my helmet, so I always have my ID. I got that idea from something Nancy posted, and it's worked well.

I use the kind that goes on my shoe. But others in my cycle group have the wrist one too.
Have a good weekend and safe riding!

not a lot of horseback riders would think of using a road id even thought it is a good idea to wear one. riders of all diciplines should wear it (english and western riders). That is just my opion though.

You're right....any hiker, biker, runner, walker, skier, heck ALL athletes should wear one, and especially those out and about solo.

I have a red ankle strap ID. I wear it for my rides and for my runs.
I bought one for my daughter for when she wants to go play outside or at the park. Hers is a pink wrist strap.

I have the ankle one which I wear all the time. (I just don't take it off) and a wrist one which I keep looped on my helmet strap and put on my wrist whenever I ride.
I bought SKnot the ankle one, and he promptly lost it. Sigh.
