Play night
I've been working hard the last several days trying to clean up the boxes of stuff that have accumulated in the workroom and set up home office space (only a 25 ft morning commute!). Tonight is play time. I haven't made posole in forever but I have a nice pork shoulder from the organic farmer in who comes to our Farmers Market and the posole is simmering on the stove, making my mouth water.
And now I get to play with my new camera. My camera consultant, Jobob, helped me pick out a new Canon SD700 and it came yesterday. Yippee! Maybe I'll have the thing figured out in time for the brevet this weekend. My test project will be to see if I can download photos of my bike with it's bags. These TE ladies have transformed me. I'm actually hanging a bag and map case on my handlebars. The world may be ending soon. :D
I didn't know the funny sounds that come on digital cams now. Who knew? I can make it chirp like a bird. That's so important to good photos.

Oooh what bag did you get for your handlebars??
-
The little Gilles Berthoud bag like Veronica's that I borrowed at the end of the Calaveras ride. That way it matches my saddle bag. At least I'll be a coordinated bag lady.
-
I will have to check it out on Saturday.:)

She shoots, she scores! OK, sometimes we have to celebrate our supremcy over machines. I actually figured out how to take a photo and download. Here is the evidence of both my ability to outwit a camera and that I've got bags. Let's see how big the thing is and whether it breaks monitors.
