The police served the search warrant yesterday on the apartment where they thought the burglars lived. They found my driver's license and some other stuff that is probably ours. I get to go identify it this afternoon.

So you knew where they lived? Is that kind of like being Nancy Drew, warting the police to do something? (Glad you didn't end up hog-tied in the trunk of a yellow roadster, though.)

Oh V. This is good news! Were the burglars arrested?
Are you going to go to the apartment? My neighbor was robbed a few years ago. She had to go to the bad guys' apartment to identify her stuff. She said it was really creepy! One of her picture frames was on a table with somebody else's picture in it. She saw her stuff all over the place in little bits and pieces--microwave, TV, etc. But the worst was that her comforter was on the bed! Yuck!Quote:
