YOWZA! Showing my age here, but I kept thinking, "Jeez, his knees, what's left of them, are really gonna hurt in a few years."
Thanks for sharing the link.
kneees??? How about his back??!
Thanks for sharing the link. That guy has amazing handling skills reminds me of myself.......NOT!!!!!!:D
I was thinking the same about his knees...
And I was also thinking that this guy can jump higher straight up *with* a bicycle than I could ever do *without* one - wonder if he has extra bouncy tires or just superhuman bouncy legs :p
i was wondering how many time he smacked his head against his bike bouncing like that.
i guess i should go and practice my bunnyhops now.
yeah that stuff is pretty crazy! Ryan Leech (my bf's idol) is crazy awesome with trials. He can ride chain links and bunny hop of 2 inch rails many feet above ground and all that insane stuff.
My BF used to do trials but his knees started to swell and he would be in a good deal of pain. So he took a break but I think he's gonna get back into it. I'm so envious b/c I can't endo, bunnyhop, and all that other stuff like he can.But I do have more speed than he does:D
Oh and for the bouncy effect, they have extra fat tires for grip and they actually let some air out. Its the free wheel. My bf has a 98 engagement free wheel (I think, it might be higher) so he can exert max power and mover the free just a touch and get some major effects out of it. Also, its about weight shifting. It takes a lot of concentration and calculation. Pretty neat stuff!
That's amazing! Though I do admit that I watched that and cringed the whole time thinking about his poor bike! Apparently, I have more concern for my bike than for my body. :o
I think my priorities are screwed up! :p
That was incredible! I was oooing and ahhiing and laughing all at once. I can't imagine the skill, balance, and concentration it takes to do that stuff. Oh yeah, and youth, too! Thanks for the link, lph.
