Hey Light..I was just about to start a thread about Australia day...along with the really hard australia day quiz...
Well, our biking gang is doing a camping/mtn biking weekend. Ian & some folks are already down in Dwellingup probably drinking a smidgen ;)...(i couldn''t get today off) and planning some evening rides..
It's gonna a be HOT HOT HOT this weekend...40c forecasted for tomorrow, 39c saturday..I can see us sitting by a (possible) waterfall (there might not be any water at the moment..) during the day & biking later in the day.
Sad to say we're unable to roast marshmallows or anything dealing with campfires-that'll have to wait until our fall camp n ride..

Not planning as active a day as some of you, i'm working on my data analysis this morning and then maybe a movie this arvo (aussie for "afternoon" :D ).
Am thinking of making a pav..... yeh, i know it really came from NZ, but hell, i love pav's :D Now can i convince DH to go to the shops and get cream, raspberries and strawberries :p

I've been on my 35km ride up Mt Cootha this morning... now I'm waiting for BF to come home from Mt Nebo and Mt Glorious. Got home and had a Vegimite sandwhich
Then maybe some lamingtons while listening to TRIPLE J'S HOTTEST 100... But first I'm going back to bed... Sure I saw the sun rise did a great challenging ride... But I'm exhaused...

Ah yes a long weekend - not sure what we'll be up to for the rest of the day but it was certainly buzzing on our local bike/walk/run track earlier this morning - there are obviously lots of people making the most of the day off to get out in the fresh(ish Sydney) air. Have a good weekend.
