Pardon me if I'm asking something that seems obvious to everyone, but...
I must have missed something somewhere. What does "DH" mean? I've figured out it's your significant other, but what do the letters stand for?

Dear Husband...but my version is sometimes...designated husband...don't know why, but anytime someone writes DH, that is what I think of.....
I've assumed it means "Dear Hubby" but in my mind it always reads "Designated Hitter". ;)
Thanks. I was coming up with stuff like "dearest honey" and "da homey". I think I have a mental block against "husband". :p
then there's SO -significant other
BF - boyfriend
GF - girlfriend or gluten-free, depending on the thread
DPITA - dear pain in the @$$
DS - dear son
DD - dear daughter
I use it to stand for Dear Husband.
Before I got on this forum, it meant d@$k head to me! Sometimes maybe they're interchangeable????

Depending upon the day, DH is either Domestic Helper or Domestic Hinderance! :D
...english is not my mother language, and I thought it means DARLINGH... but as I'm writing it now, I realised that it should be written wthout H. Guess spelling is not my best side :o
could be damn husband. (sorry) But sometimes.....
or Dumb Husband...
Having grown up in Alabama, I was 13 before I knew that "Damn" and "Yankee" were two separate words:D
Ouch!
Startled...yes. BUT, IN MY CASE, IT STANDS FOR "DETERMINED HOMBRE"
11 Days...11 Pounds...and Counting
:D
