Since I know you have actually ridden this year . . . .
Snap's is more an honorary title.
I think she got it by riding backwards. :D
Many thanks, ladies. Last New Year's Day, I made my goal to ride every day that conditions were safe (no snow/ice/heavy rain/dangerous wind). Mother Nature, for the most part, cooperated. I admit that I did ride several days when I probably shouldn't have been out (heavy rain, strong wind, beginning of a snow storm, etc.). There were days when I didn't want to ride--bad day at work--but I made myself go and without fail, cheered up after a few miles. November/December are the toughest months due to the lack of sunlight (thank goodness for HID headlights, blinkies, good tail lights), and acclimating to the colder temps & constant wind. My AV thermal jacket has been a lifesaver in temps below 40 degrees and of course, my JoBob-provided AV vest has seen many miles. :)
For 2007, I have the same goal, and since I'll have some AV buffs to complete my AV kit, I'll be set! I have my fingers crossed for a continued mild winter!
My God....I'm awestruck. This is not only humbling....but inspiring. Congratulations!!!

h.o.l.y...c.o.w... that's a lotta riding.
Whoaaaa....you did that in one year?
I'm dumbfounded.
Yes---I did all that riding. I rode either before work (heading out at 4am) or after work to get in 20-26 miles/day during the weekdays. Riding after work is better because I can burn off the day's stress and I sleep like a baby! On weekends, I did longer rides, starting at sunrise. That way I could ride first and still have time for life. I averaged between 150 and 200 miles a week, usually. Sometimes more, sometimes less, depending on weather &/or how I felt physically. My longest ride was a metric century.
Now go have a cookie. :p
