I saw a story on cnn.com today about a dead python off a bike trail in FL. The person that they interview has her helmet on backwards. It just seemed sad that the one cyclist they interviewed didn't have her gear on correctly. I tried to attach the story but couldn't figure out how.

I'd rather run into the live flamingo than a live python. Somehow I just find the flamingo, I dunno, purdier? :p
Umm..if i'd come accross the python they'd be dealing with two dead things...!!!!

What is up with that woman's helmet? She's wearing it backards, over hat and with the strap incorrectly adjusted. Just odd!:confused: But I laughed!:p

I can't tell you how many newbies in my club show up for rides and the helmet is on wrong. If it's not backwards it's on the back of their head, or off to the side, or strap hanging low, something. I tell folks it's not likely you will fall backwards off a bike, my experience (and I am experienced) is you go forward onto the forehead. The helmet need to goes there!
And how about the children you see riding around with their helmet slid to the back of their heads! If they did fall on their forehead, the helmet wouldn't do anything for them.Quote:

Yes! Newtons theory of motion. :D I'd ask them if they plan to do the route in reverse because that's the way their helmet is set up.
so is that the fashion down there in that neighborhood? wear the helmet on backwards over your baseball cap?
Oh, boy...this is too close for comfort. They're finding thousands of Pythons in the Everglades these days due to nutcases that think they're cute when they're babies....then release them into the wild when they become....a tad to big to handle. The news said 'They run off wildlife'.....
WRONG....they eat the wildlife and are diminishing the birds, panthers and yes....even gators in the Everglades. And now....they're being found in Tampa.....just a couple of hours from my house.
I propose Open Season on Pythons.....or perhaps on those morons letting them go in the wild.
