Progress. . . .
I just completed my eight mile loop out in the country. Three weeks ago I needed three or four stops to get through it comfortably. Today I did it in 35 minutes without any stops. There are only two hills and the headwind was brief, plus the temp was a comfortable 75 (versus 95 three weeks ago), but still I think my endurance and stamina has increased quite a bit.
My HR hit 161 on one of the long uphills and this is a bit high for me using the 226 minus my age formula, but I wasn't that winded and just slowed my cadence to hit 159 at the top.
I'm really jazzed to feel like I'm getting into shape and can really tell a difference in such a short time. I hope its me thats improving and not just my new bike!
