Retro-grouch!! It's a nice looking jersey, but I still don't wanna ride that far :D
therein lies the rub.
Though I suppose if I did the 200K* that would justify it.
( * in freakin' January :p )
You could do the 200K Jo.
Come on, ride with me. :)
V.
I would love to ride that far. And I'd want the jersey, if it was wool.
Ibex's team jerseys are similar and wool.
I'm so out of it...what is "retro-grouch"? I know "retro" and I know "grouch" but what is "retro-grouch"?
There are a bunch of randonneurs here in Seattle somewhere. Betcha their jersey isn't as cool as you guys' jersey. Can I come ride with y'all just to get the shirt?
no, it's not as cool. the Seattle Randonneurs wear a blue jersey with white letters. But the Oregon Randonneurs wear a red Jersey with black trim, it's really beautiful. but they are all wool, both Seattle and Oregon...

Yep, the SF one is wool as well.
I think the Seattle Randonneurs jersey is mighty nice. But I do like the design on the SF jersey, simple yet effective.
V, you're so sweet. I'd see you at the start & that's about it. :D
Oooh! I want!
MimiT- are the Seattle Randonneurs through Cascade, or do y'all have your own website?
(once I get my new bike all set up, I really do want to start the long rides)
Edit: oops, nevermind. Now I see the link.... brain fart. Must have more coffee!
I belong to cascade but not the seattle randonneurs.
I also belong to the redmond cycling club which has no members from redmond.
RCC (redmond cycling club ) also has its own web page. I was trying to find a photo of the Oregon Rando Jersey. I guess i have one on my own camera at home... can't find one on the web; it must be a new jersey.
Is the Oregon Rando jersey the second one down in this link ?
(or is the one they show here just a prototype?)

second one down, yup, but the red is a lovely rich color, not shown here.
that's it, good work Jobob!
:)
Retro-grouch (n.) someone who crabbily holds onto old stuff instead of embracing the new.
Or, in my case, wears wool, sits on leather, rides lugged steel, uses friction bar-end shifters, and carries whonkin' big canvas saddlebags. :D
wow! i like that jersey... simple but nice!!!!
and yes... you can do 200K! that's only 120ish miles! now get out there and ride!

EXCUSE ME, young lady!???? remove that MAYBE right out of there! only positive thoughts... you CAN do it!
