Nice page!
But whose bike is first on the page? Her saddle is tipped down so dramatically, I'd be sliding off the bike!
I don't ride a Bianchi but do love Campy components!

No Bianchi either :( But she's Italian, with Campy? Record? honorary? Ok, be exclusive then :)

Nice work, Mimi!!!
I'll get a photo to you asap.

That's me, Emily! I was trying to find a way to like that saddle. You will not be surprised to hear that I returned it to the store today! It was a Terry Fly, with a nice narrow nose, but the saddle was so hard that I had to tip it away from me in order to ride in the aero bars. I just put a "trial ride" WTB Deva saddle on today, and, after an 8 mile ride, tipped it down a bit. Less than the Fly, though.
..............................
Mimi, the site is beautiful! Thank you so much! What a great, fun idea. :D

Hey count me in. Though my Bianchi is so new it doesn't have a chain :D Well, it's an '03 Pista but it's new to me. I don't have a pic of me with it yet. I'll work on that.

beta, I just have to say again how much I love the colors on the Pista. That black with celeste is so striking. It looks like a Secret Agent bike or something! Extremely cool. L.

Great site and awesome photos. Now I want to be a TE Bianchi Girl. I want to be in the club, unfortunately, I will be sticking with my Trek for quite some time. Maybe I can start saving for a Bianchi.
Mimi, is it OK if I add the link to my signature line, too?

Thanks Lise. I do really like the colors. The tires look great also, but I'm leery to leave them on. I want to put kevlar tires on because of my flat woes. And with the bolted wheels and pain with the chain to change flats, I'd be more at ease. The tires on there have some nice tread on them though. Just don't think they'll do me much good against glass. I'll keep them around. Maybe I can find kevlars that have that color....
beta--I agree, safety before beauty. Those wheels are beautiful. I hope you can find some nice tough ones with the same colors.

Hmmmm....
How about "Ex-" Bianchi owners?
I <<sniff>> sold my trusty and true '95 Bianchi Eros to finance the Felt commuter, yet hold my real, steel, steed near and dear to my heart always. My first "real" road bike.....

of course!! the more the merrier!
Pedal Wench and Regina, I will put your bikes up this evening too. There ARE limits
to what I can do at work. Do your bikes have names? Pedal, do you want me to call you
Pedal or will something else be better? (I can have anonymous bikes too)

I had never thought of naming a bike when I had it. It was just my Eros. :(

If it's okay, I'd prefer Pedal Wench versus my real name. Thanks!

If he doesn't mind being called a bianchi girl!
my son chose not to.
How do I make it so the url says "TE Bianchi girls" or something like that, but links to the site? So far I can only get the url as my sig line. I lack these skills...
mimitabby
09-08-2006, 08:45 AM
when you make the link change the second url to whatever you want it to say.
go back to the code, and you'll see it is repeated..
I did it! Woohoo! Deliver a baby? No problem. Add a computer skill? ANXIETY!  Thanks, mimi. :D L.

Good luck with your new saddle, Lise! It's a good thing you returned the Fly - it couldn't have been good for your upper body to ride with that much tip. Better luck with the Deva!
