Just a week away! My training got a little behind schedule this past week with my mountain bike camp and resulting injuries. Rode some indoors on the trainer and plan to do a long-ish ride tomorrow. (I will be staying down on the Cape, for anyone that is riding in Concord tomorrow).
So who's going to ride next Sunday? Anyone want to try to meet and ride together? I will be there by myself, but it would be nice to have some buddies in the crowd. I expect my pace to average 14-15 mph. Perhaps we could set a time and place to meet before the ride? Any ideas?

Hey Linda,
I think I am doing TFCE on Sunday. I keep watching the weather. It goes from partly cloudy to a few showers. My DH is doing the Connecticut River Valley century on Saturday and riding the TFCE with me on Sunday. Maybe that will slow him down :D Anyway, I would love to meet up. We haven't figured out if we are driving down the night before or not. Kind of up to our babysitter. It would be nice to get everyone together for a group shot before we all scatter for the day. I'll be on the slow side of 12-14 since my training fell off with the kids home all summer.

Hey good luck. My husband hammers with the Gear Works guys. He'll be on the black and red Orbea. Say hi if you see him.

I'll be there for TFCE. Yes, lets make a plan to meet before the ride. Can anyone suggest a place to meet that we'll be able to find each other? I'll have my Amici Veloce jersey on.
I ride pretty slow too.

Hi,
I'm planning to do the century alone since my DH is riding with his group at a very fast pace. I have been riding regularly but not quite the mileage for a century. My top rides have been between 50-60 miles. We threw in a few weekends riding the Kancamangus (NH) and Pinkham Notch for some hill work, though. I'll be trying to maintain an average of 15-16 mph. IS this realistic? Any thoughts? Should I try to hook up with a group? Any suggestions would be helpful.

I will be wearing my Amici Veloce jersey also, but it will probably be covered up with a wind vest and bolero to start! I saw some pictures of the registration from last year, and it looks like they have different tables set up according to rider number. I'm #922 and plan to get there by 6:30. Maybe we could meet by the last registration table? Perhaps we should PM each other with cell phone numbers?
Here's a link to a photoshow of last year's ride...I'm getting psyched!

Hope to see you there!

Same here, DH and I probably won't be there until 7:00. What time are you guys planning on heading out? 7:30 at the last table (high number?) might be good unless everyone is planning on being out by then?
I'll be on the purple orbea and probably wearing purple. :D

7:30 sounds good...I can always use more time to get it together in the morning. Looks like we have Jody, Patty, Deb?, and me?

I'll ride slower with ya- I am bringing my cyclocross bike which has 30MM tires on it, its not really a slow bike but i'm not going to bring my racing bike because its kind of torn apart right now.
