It is that time of year....time to enjoy a simply wonderful and challenging ride from Louisville, Kentucky to historic Bardstown, Kentucky. When you ask does this great event take place? Well ladies, it will all happen next week (Sept 9-10). You can select from three different routes on Saturday - a 50, 70 or 102 mile ride. Sunday's return ride is a nice but challenging 55 mile route. The SAG's are great, lunch is very tasty, the route is well marked and the famous cookie stop on Sunday is every cookie lovers dream come true.
I'm going to be tackling the 70 mile ride on Saturday and joining all the returning riders on Sunday as we make our back to Louisville. The OKHT also has wonderful mechanical support (I'm a bit bias given my BF will be one of those fixing bikes all weekend and he goes great work). If you are participating let me know I'd love to ride with you.
