You guys are the best! You have told me I was crazy, given me advice, commiserated with me when I failed, supported me, told me I was crazy, believed in me and told me I was crazy. I am honored to have you all to hang out with. :) Everytime I wear this jacket (and it will be a lot!) I will think of each of you and how much you mean to me. You are all awesome. I'm actually kind of speechless. It was quite a surprise.

When Thom's done tinkering with the website I'll post a pic.

Now who's doing the brevet series with MP and me? :D

So my awesome pals - who believed I could do it, even when I didn't, came out to cheer me on, let me crash at their homes, picked up my coach when he had trouble, stayed up WAY past their bedtimes to see if I finished...

What is going on in the background? Is that a mime? Shudder, only thing I dislike more than mimes are clowns...

Oh, cool jacket, hope it fits . Wear it with pride, you earned it.

You're welcome!

And Kim - creepy white faced Marie Antoinette-ish sort of mime. Even my daughter wasn't impressed.

Veronica, what a wonderful jacket! After seeing the pictures yesterday, I dreamed that you and SadieKate were doing a cross country ride together. You stopped in Chicago, and I was going to ride as far as the lakefront bike path would go. Because I'd just seen your picture, you were acurately represented in the dream. SK, however, looked unfortunately like a social worker at the hospital ( ). Not to worry, SK, you're much cuter in real life.

So, let me know when you'll be stopping by for dinner! I mean, three doubles in one year! Is a little jaunt cross 2/3 of the country all that much for the likes of such a cyclist? I think not! :D

Me? A cross country ride? Bwahahahahahahahahaha. Urp, just inhaled part of my biscuit.

Of course, I'm much cuter in real life. I'm really about 5'8", 115 lbs, stunning red hair and thighs of steel. :p

Veronica- A WELL DESERVED jacket, that's for sure! :D :D :D :D

Even though I've followed your travels, I'm sorry I haven't been able to be more involved in your actual rides. But you certainly have a permanent fan club member here! :) :) :) :)

Yesterday, you were in my thoughts as I trudged up Morgan Territory Road. It was steep enough having started from Heather Farms. I kept thinking- "Veronica managed to do Mt Diablo and then came over here and did this stinker of a hill!!!.. and to top it off she kept on going up more hills....."

Needless to say, your footprints are encased on that road! You were with me in spirit if not on the bike! I'll do that ride again. It is indeed beautiful even if there are a few killer climbs in there!!!!
