It's been 3 months since my bike accident, and it wasn't a bad one but left me with an annoying hand injury that's kept me off my bike:eek:
I've been to 2 different orthopedic surgeons, tried PT for 3 weeks with u/s, and had a corizone shot, all with no progress. It's all actually kept my hand swollen.
I got to a point where I could NOT stand another minute. I was in pain all the time and my entire arm was swollen. I went to my chiropractor last night. He adjusted C6 (way out of alignment), my elbow, wrist, thumb and finger. Two hours later my swelling was about half. Today- I can make a fist! This is the best progress I have had in 3 months!! It's not completely better by any stretch but I know the hand can't heal if the swelling doesn't go away.
Just thought I'd share with you. This chiro is phenominal but is a 45 minute drive away from me these days. It's hard to get to him but I will definitely make sure I do. Guess I should have tried him months ago!!
Now, maybe I can ride my bike before the snow flys - it was in the 40's last night:D
