Hi there. I have been riding all summer with a great group. The guy who leads the group is an amazing instructor, and he has helped several of us to really build our endurance, skills, etc. We want to give him a thank you gift and thought that if we all bought jerseys with a simple logo or slogan on it dedicated to him, he'd get a huge charge out of it.
I am looking for a place to get semi-custom jerseys that will not cost us an arm and a leg. Some of the people in this group just cannot afford to spend $50, $60, $70 for a jersey plus chip in on his! Does anyone know of a place I can check into?
Thanks for any leads you can give me!! :D

Check out VOLER... if you select from their pre-designed jerseys I think the price is reasonable. Fully custom will run around $65 - 80.

I guess we all have our own idea of what is affordable. $60 - $80 is not affordable to me or others in my group. But thanks anyway! (And, yes, I had already hit that site and crossed it off the list.)

Nature Girl, Jones, Tiffanie -- thanks for all of the suggestions! For others who might be interested, here is what I've found so far:
Velowear - No minimum, delivery 3-weeks from order, price for 6-10 pieces is $63.95 each.
Champion System - Minimum of 10, delivery 8 weeks from order, price is $45 each (no matter what your quantity is)
BikeJerseys.com - Minimum of 10, delivery 4-5 weeks from order, price is $49 each (these people are very confusing, however ... not sure what to believe right now)
Sugoi Ltd. - Minimum of 12, no indication what delivery time is (website under construction), price is $46.75 for 12-24 units.
KEEP THOSE IDEAS COMING, LADIES!! I APPRECIATE IT!

check out REI. in 04, i coordinated having jerseys made by them for a training group. they were reasonably priced and great about working on a very tight time frame
just be aware that if u want 2 keep costs down u will likely need to go w a silkscreened design and would need to provide an electronic version of the design in photoshop or such.
another option would be to order a batch of jerseys and have a print shop do the silkscreen for you.
if u are interested, i may be able to photo the jersey & email it to you.
i love the jersey and still wear it.

What Maryellen said. Get a bunch of solid color jerseys on sale and do them at a local shop.

All great ideas, as usual! I did think about getting jerseys and taking them to a print shop, as I doubt any local t-shirt shop would have cycling jerseys. (Frankly, I haven't even been able to FIND any kind of t-shirt print shop around here!) I'll keep you posted.
