So the big guy's been wearing an OLD (I mean with holes worn in them) pair of cycling shorts that weren't much good even when they were new, and now that he got a better bike and is cycling a lot more, I thought I'd be sweet and get him some new shorts. But, I've got no clue about men's shorts.
But I know a lot of you out there have male SOs that cycle. Which shorts do they like most?

I am curious to hear the responses as I would like to get DH some for his birthday.

My husband's favorite shorts are the Pearl Izumi Microsensor and the Microsensor 3D Pro. He says they don't bunch up, they stay put and keep him dry.

My DH loves his bib shorts from Voler.
He used to wear Pearl Izumi Microsensor, but now swears by the bibs.
Pearl Izumi Ultrasensors, Microsensors, and Aerosensors are what most of my guy friends wear. They're in ascending order by price.

I bought DH some Pearl Izumi UltraSensor Bibs for his birthday. He loves them far more than his Voler, Performance Ultra or Gore bibs. He said they keep his male bits happier and him drier. He prefers bibs to shorts because he doesn't like elastic waists.

DH will only wear bibs. He likes both Nike and Hincapie...I think Hincapie are his favs.
