accident aftermath

I count myself blessed that I walked away from last week's accident with the worst of my injuries being a broken knuckle. However, I got a freakin' ticket in the mail for "unsafe lane changes" to the tune of $163. It's a moving violation and will go on my driving record. And I'm unemployed and broke. I'll be going to court, I guess.

Here's a picture of the bike. It's a horrible picture, but you'll get the idea. A friend who used to wrench at a local shop is coming by to look at it and help ne figure out how much is actually damaged. And get this - the rear tire is still inflated.

Ouch, again! What a sad sight. I hope your friend can find a way to fix it.

Maybe you can do community service to avoid paying the fine? Good luck with that. And take care of yourself. You're having a rough time.
