Has anyone tried the Shebeest Shindigger? I want something more "minimal," but I've read that the 4-panel design may not be sufficient for comfort (or maybe that's only for long distance?).

I looove my Shebeest Shindiggers. The length is just right, and I like the details at the leg opening -- split hem, no elastic, very comfy! The fabric has a matte look to it which is very flattering, as opposed to the very shiny lycra look of some other shorts that will enhance every single flaw on your precious body.

The pad is pretty thin, so if you're ok with that, I think you'd like them. I have two pairs and I wear them for mountain biking (2 hours max on the bike, but a good portion of that is spent standing, not sitting on the saddle) and spinning classes (about one hour) but not for any sort of real road riding. The pad is also unobtrusive enough that I can wear them for jogging, to the gym, around the house (with underwear), and occasionally I'll even throw a polo shirt over them to go to the post office or whatever. Oh yeah, and they're cute. :)

I hope this helps,

~Cari
