Hello:

I am looking to buy a pair of Keen shoes for biking. I don't know if they sell any specifically for that, so I thought I would post in here to find out of any information available on the web about Keen shoes and any research that might be available discussing the different technologies in the shoes.

I have a pair of the sandals that I bought through Keenhybrid.com (http://keenhybrid.com), but I can't find any information about biking shoes.

Any Keen shoes information and links would be appreciated.

No, they don't make specific biking shoes. When I had flat pedals I rode in my Keens anyway. And my Birkenstocks. Now I have Speedplay Frogs and ride in a pair of Specialized Taho bike shoes.

www.keenfootwear.com is the company website.

On shorter rides I used to ride in Keens - the toe box is so wide I had trouble with getting them into my clips. And while they have a super-comfortable anatomical footbed, the soles are really flexible and my feet would get tired and sore as they flexed over and around the pedals. Same was true when I rode in sneakers. Getting a pair of cycling shoes "cured" my foot pain - I bought Sidi MTB shoes and didn't get cleats or clipless pedals. They still helped with efficiency, even without clipless!
